Ram 4500/5500 Adjustable Track Bar

Description

An adjustable track bar that outlasts the stock unit and lets you adjust your axle side to side to compensate for various suspension heights. On trucks this heavy, factory rubber bushings don’t hold up — a common cause of death wobble on service trucks.

Eliminates death wobble caused by a worn track bar and increases service life many times over the factory unit.

Maintenance

No maintenance beyond keeping the rod ends relatively clean — spray them with a cleaner like WD40 at every oil change. Sand, salt, and mud buildup can pit the ball and eventually wear the liner. The bearing and heim joint are wear items with inexpensive replacements.

Installation

As simple as the stock track bar, reusing your factory hardware: remove two bolts, drop the old bar out, adjust the new bar to length and tighten the jam nut, then install and torque the factory bolts.
